A Special Friend

Doris Beechum Ringo

March 19, 1953 - May 13, 2006

On Saturday, May 13, 2006, we lost a very special friend and classmate,
Doris (Beechum) Ringo.

Doris was a strong woman, and she fought with every breath in her, until the very end. She always had a good wit about herself and was well loved by all who knew her. She will be dearly missed. Those who knew her know that she would not want us to come in sorrow at her passing, but in celebration of her life.

At age 53, a loving mother, grandmother and friend, Doris departed this life Saturday, May 13, 2006, from complications of cancer. She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Carl Ringo.

Doris is also survived by a son and daughter, Tyrone Lofton and Katina Morgan; two grandsons, Bryce Morgan and Travon Lofton; mother and grandmother, Mary Newton and Amber Gould; mother-in-law, Inez Ringo; two sisters, Deborah Jackson and Patricia Jackson; and her dear cousin Glenda Collins. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

 

Doris, we do indeed, celebrate your life. We are blessed to have had you as our classmate and friend.
